Lee Jin Wook is a South Korean actor under BH Entertainment. He initially studied Environmental Engineering at Cheongju University but left to pursue a career in acting, debuting in 2003 as a print model for Panasonic. He completed his mandatory military service from May 6, 2009, to March 7, 2011. In 2016, he was accused of sexual assault. The case revolved around South Korea's legal definition of "lack of consent," which often requires evidence of physical resistance or incapacitation. Despite the accuser presenting evidence of bruising, he was cleared of all charges. He subsequently filed a counter-lawsuit for false accusation. In 2017, the accuser was found not guilty of making a false accusation, but upon appeal, she was sentenced to eight months in prison for defamation in February 2018.
