Kim Su Hyun, known as Claudia Kim in Hollywood, is a South Korean actress born in Seoul, South Korea. She spent six years of her childhood in the United States. In 2010, she adopted the stage name Yoo Ri El but reverted to her birth name in 2011. She is currently signed with YG Entertainment and uses her real name in Korea and Claudia Kim for international projects. In 2019, she married Cha Min Geun, former CEO of WeWork Korea, also known as Matthew Shampine. The couple had their first daughter in September 2020. On September 23, 2024, it was confirmed that they had separated after five years of marriage. On May 2, 2025, she signed an exclusive contract with the agency Saram Entertainment.
