Kang Hye Won
Kang Hye Won is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress, and former member of IZ*ONE (아이즈원 / アイズワン). She graduated from Hanlim Arts High School, and before debuting, she spent several years as a trainee at a few companies. In fact, she was a pre-debut member of DAYDAY (데이데이), but HYWY Entertainment decided to exclude her from the final lineup and ultimately ended up canceling the group in October 2017 without even debuting. Then, in mid-2018, she participated in the survival show "Produce 48". She finished in 8th place and earned a spot in the resulting project group. She debuted in October 2018 as IZ*ONE's lead rapper, sub-vocalist and visual with their first mini-album, "Color*IZ". They were co-managed by Off The Record Entertainment (오프더레코드엔터테인먼트) and WakeOne (웨이크원) in South Korea. The contract was planned for 2 and a half years, and in April 2021, the group officially disbanded after no agreement could be reached with all the members' agencies to extend it. She made her debut as an actress with a role in the web drama "Best Mistake 3", and later that year, she also debuted as a solo artist with the special winter album, "W", which was a thank you to all the fans who had supported her over the years.
