Nana
Im Jin Ah, known professionally as Nana, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress, model, and former member of the girl group AFTER SCHOOL (애프터스쿨). She graduated from Ochang High School and earned an associate's degree in Beauty Arts from Seoul Arts College. She debuted in November 2009 as a member of AFTER SCHOOL, joining the group as the main dancer, lead rapper, vocalist, and visual with their second single, "Because of You." Although AFTER SCHOOL had debuted earlier that year, the group's concept allowed new members to join, and she was added shortly after signing with Pledis Entertainment (플레디스 엔터테인먼트). In June 2010, she became a member of the group's sub-unit ORANGE CARAMEL (오렌지 캬라멜), which debuted with the single "Magic Girl." In July 2011, she joined another sub-unit, A.S. RED, formed based on fan votes. She made her modeling debut in September 2011, becoming the main model for the Tokyo Girls Collection fashion show. After 2015, AFTER SCHOOL ceased group promotions, and in April 2016, ORANGE CARAMEL also became inactive following a concert. She was the only member to renew her contract with Pledis, but as the last active member, the group was effectively disbanded. She remained with the company until September 2024, when she left after 15 years. She is currently represented by Sublime (써브라임). On November 15, 2025, she and her mother subdued a home intruder after he broke into their house and attacked her mother. She was awakened by the disturbance, and the two restrained the attacker in self-defense before she and her mother were taken to the hospital.
