Park So Jin
Park So Jin is a South Korean singer, dancer, composer, actress and member of GIRL'S DAY (걸스데이). She graduated from Kyungduk Girls' High School and later dropped out of the Mechanical Engineering program at Yeongnam University. Before debuting, she spent time as a vocal trainer for ULALA SESSION. She made her debut in July 2010 as the group's leader and lead vocalist with their first EP, "Girl's Day Party #1". After a rough start, the group became one of the most popular and commercially successful of the 2010s. She made her debut as a solo artist in January 2011 with the single "Our Love Like This", an OST for the drama "Flames of Desire", and she began composing several songs for the group. In January 2019, her contract with Dream T Entertainment (드림티 엔터테인먼트) expired and she decided not to renew it. The group has not officially disbanded but has not released any new material since mid-2017. She is now focused on her acting career and is represented by Noon Company (눈컴퍼니) since March 2019.
