Wang Yi Bo is a Chinese actor, dancer, singer, motorcycle racer and member of UNIQ (유니크). He attended Hanlim Arts High School in South Korea but dropped out. In early 2014, YG Entertainment began a project to launch a new boy group composed of trainees who had been learning between 2-5 years. They brought Yuehua Entertainment (위에화엔터테인먼트) to co-manage the group, but in the end, Yuehua kept full control of it. He made his debut in October 2014 as UNIQ's main dancer, rapper, vocalist, visual, and maknae with their single, "Falling in Love", released in both Mandarin and Korean. The group also provided the OSTs for the Chinese version of the movies "TMNT" and "Penguins of Madagascar". In 2016, Yi Bo made his acting debut in the film "MBA Partners" (梦想合伙人) and has consistently appeared in several dramas in China. After releasing two singles in April 2018, UNIQ went on an indefinite hiatus, and while they have never disbanded, they have not released any new material since then. In 2019, he competed as a professional racer as part of the Yamaha China Racing Team, winning 1st place in his division. That year, he released the single "No Sense" (无感), becoming the fastest-selling digital single of NetEase Music to reach sales of 10 million Yuan. It also marked his first attempt at songwriting. In 2023, he won the Best Actor Award at the 20th China Movie Chanel Media Awards for his leading roles in "Hidden Blade" (无名) and "Born to Fly" (长空之王). (Source: MyDramaList) Edit Biography
