Jung Hye Rim, later legally changed to Jung Eun Ji, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress and member of APINK (에이핑크). She graduated from Hyehwa Girls' High School. Before debuting, she had no previous experience and was only a trainee for 2 months. She made her debut in April 2011 as the group's main vocalist and face of the group with their first EP, "Seven Springs of Apink". They became known thanks to their appearance in the reality show "Birth of a Family" and for singing the OST "Please Let Us Love" for the SBS drama "Protect the Boss". They won 4 rookie awards that year, including the Mnet Asian Music Awards, the Korean Culture & Entertainment Awards, the Golden Disk Awards, and the High 1 Seoul Music Awards, which helped them expand their fanbase. She made her acting debut in July 2012 when she appeared as the lead role in tvN's "Reply 1997", for which she won several awards, including Best New TV Actress at the 49th Baeksang Arts Awards. The group officially debuted in Japan in October 2014 with the single "NoNoNo" but had several fan meetings and concerts before this release. In April 2016, she made her debut as a solo artist with the mini-album "Dream". In April 2020, she formed an independent sub-unit alongside Park Cho Rong and Kim Nam Joo called APINK JOOJIRONG (Apink 주지롱) and debuted with the single "Be Myself", which became part of the group's mini-album, "Look". In April 2023, IST Entertainment (IST엔터테인먼트; formerly known as Play M Entertainment and Plan A Entertainment) announced that she had decided to renew her contract.
